FOR PUBLIC SAFETY
Supported full funding of our police and fire departments
Violent crimes have dropped over the last two years
Shepherded the process of building and re-opening of Fire Station #19
Advocated for the city’s first and only dedicated police unit in Dallas to ensure Deep Ellum safety
Negotiated additional LED lighting to prevent crime
Led code complaince crawls in each District 2 neighborhood
FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Voted to increase the minimum wage for City of Dallas employees
Advocated and funded city’s first day labor center
Supported dollars to overhaul the permitting office
Championed the redevelopment of our convention center, which will generate $4 billion for District 2
Supported the largest tax rate cut in 40 years
FOR HOUSING AND THE UNHOUSED
Created new affordable housing units in District 2
Supported programs to rehab existing affordable homes
Supported raising the homestead exemption for seniors
Voted to purchase blighted hotels to be converted to housing units for people experiencing homelessness
Supported funding to house more than 2,700 unhoused people
FOR NEIGHBORHOODS
Executed restriping of roads and the installation of new crosswalks
Supported pedestrian flashing beaker and new signage
Implemented traffic calming by adding traffic signals and engineering streets
Enhanced signage along the Santa Fe Trail
Spearheaded street and sidewalk repairs and reconstructions

Broke ground on Harwood Park, coming the summer of 2023
Supported Dallas’ first skate park, at Bachman Lake
